The Lord has blessed us with a new home. We moved from Asbury Circle to Kiowa Ln in Grove Point on May 1st. We bought the home of Glenn and Selina Sturgis. They were everything you could want in a seller and now new friends. A wonderful couple! We are still getting boxes unpacked and stuff arranged. Isn't it amazing how much "stuff" people accumulate? We have given away BAGS of clothes to Goodwill, have thrown out BAGS of stuff, and have pondered over things with "do we need this anymore?"! Thank you, Jesus, that we won't have to do this for a while, Lord willing! But it has been a tremendous blessing more than anything else! The Lord has been good to us! And for that we are thankful!
We are making plans to do a local book signing event, and in this case it will also be a singing event! It will most likely be on a Saturday afternoon. It will not only consist of a book signing, but also a "reading", a short testimony of how the book came about and what the Lord is doing in our lives. And then there will be a peformance of the song that goes with the book. Stay tuned for further details! Any ideas on how to make this work the best?

Getting these books into the hands of children who need to hear about Jesus...that's what it's all about. The bible says that "there is safety in a multitude of counselors". (Prov 11:14). Jesus said to His disciples as He sent them out: "Be as wise as a serpents, and harmless as a doves". (Mat 10:16). What does this all mean? How do we tie it all together to accomplish God's purposes? It's coming down the stretch now for our book, "The Gospel Song and Story Book". Our publisher, WestBow Press, has been given the green light for production. So now all we have to do to plan our "release" is to wait for the big name retailers to list us, i.e., Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, etc. That should take about two weeks or so. We'll keep you posted! Hi! Well, we finally have the new website user-ready (sort of). We're still working on some links issues, and we don't have the book published yet. So wel'll have to let you know when it's ready. It won't be long; probably by January sometime. We were shooting for a Christmas release, but it does not look likely at this point. But we wanted you to see the changes we've made to the site (pretty cool stuff! and loads better than the old one).
We hope you have a wondeful Christmas and are not too bogged down with all the details of this busy season. Try to keep in mind that Jesus was born to die. The awesome, magnificent Creator God, stepped down into human life, and gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins. It boggles my mind when I think about it.
